It’s so easy to get married in Maine, everyone should do it! To help you, I wrote a blog post with all the information you need about getting married in Maine, and when it’s time to go to the town office, you’ll need this Intention to Marry form. Download the form from this page, complete it and bring it to the city clerk’s office in the town where you’re getting your marriage license.
In order to get married in Maine, you must complete the State of Maine Intentions of Marriage Form*. Bring this completed form to the municipality in Maine where you intend to get your marriage license.
The section on the form called Ceremony/Solemnization only needs to be completed if you know the information at the time of filing out the form. If I am your Maine wedding officiant, please email me and I’ll give you all the information you’ll need.
