Why every couple should have a wedding website | Photo Squarespace Weddings
I think every couple getting married should create a wedding website. You can get a free site or pay a little extra for a totally fancy one with a customized domain name. Either way, wedding websites are a great way to communicate with everyone connected to your wedding.
- Useful for guests: tell them where to stay, what to do in the area, where to eat, how to get to the ceremony/reception, where to park, what your hashtag will be, any specific instructions to guests (for example, adults only weddings, unplugged ceremony, wear flats, etc.), tell them where you’re registered, about your wedding party, about your love story leading up to your engagement, and share all those professional photos and videos
- Useful for you: have guests RSVP through your wedding website, let them ask questions before the big day, avoid the awkward “where are you registered” issue
- Useful for your vendors: we get to know you, see photos of you (especially if you’re from out of state and we haven’t met you in person yet), “meet” your wedding party, refer to your wedding day timeline, parking instructions, and get to know your wedding vendors (if you provide that information)
