Maine wedding officiant

I’m so fortunate to call Maria family. Not only because she’s warm, loving, kind, full of joy & laughter, and is that person everyone loves and instantly connects with but she’s actually my cousin. The idea of standing up and saying the most vulnerable things on the most intense day with a complete stranger was overwhelming. I never thought Maria would fly across the country to be with us on this day. But, she said ‘yes’. Our ceremony was small & intimate – family only; even more fitting that Maria was officiating. Maria worked on the ceremony for months, she was patient with our many revisions and contradictory input. She’s understanding, full of guidance and helpful insights. When she finally got to deliver the words that she’d practiced and meditated on – they were so full of intent and emotion. Her tone delivered a complimentary message to the words themselves. She had people hooked. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house. Maria’s love of love is so palpable! I now know why people say they want to do it all over again. Thanks, Maria. For all that you do, all that you did and all that you are! xoxo
