Maria graciously agreed to marry me and my (now) husband on very short notice. We had decided rather late in the game to get married while on vacation in Maine and our friends referred us to Maria/ A Sweet Start. Note: Maria normally works with her clients much longer than a few short weeks. That said, we were so pleased with the ceremony that she prepared for us and it was as if she had known us much longer. It had all of the personal touches that I would have included myself after much thought and research. She was even able to help us narrow down the perfect little beach area as well as provide excellent references for a local floral designer and photographer. We were able to have a Skype session beforehand and then met up in person at the start of our ceremony. Maria is incredibly warm and her passion for this work comes across immediately in the first few moments of meeting her. I highly recommend her services for anyone considering an elopement and/or more formal wedding ceremony in Maine!
