Maria was amazing! My wife and I were planning a destination wedding and struggled with the idea of who would officiate the ceremony. At first we hoped to find a family member that could because we didn’t know anyone in Maine. That didn’t pan out and I was worried about picking a random person, because frankly why do I care to have a stranger front and center of one of the most important days of my life. We came across Maria’s website and instantly felt a connection. We set up a Skype “meeting”. Before our conversation was over we knew she was the person to marry us.

The ceremony was awesome. Maria worked with us to create the “script” of the ceremony and our vows. She offered samples of other weddings she has done to give us ideas and point us in the right direction. She made everything very easy. She even told us what we needed to do to obtain our marriage license in Maine.

Although our time with Maria was brief, I feel as though I have made a friend for life.

Maria was the perfect fit for my wedding. After the first 5 minutes of meeting with Maria my husband and I knew we wanted her to marry us. She was all things you would want in an officiant plus so much more. She was timely in all responses and interactive with us through out the whole process. We found Maria more than a year before our wedding and she remained in constant contact with us the whole time.

Maria made the process of writing our ceremony simple and fun. We didn’t want to write our own vows but we also did not want a traditional cookie cutter ceremony either. She took all of our wants and customized the perfect ceremony that fit our personalities. It was better than I could have imagined!

The best part about working with Maria is you can tell how much she loves what she does and how much she truly cares for her clients. I will always cherish our ceremony and I know that it would not have been the same without her.

On a side note, just one of the MANY things I loved about working with Maria is her belief in marriage equality.
