the email inquiry from lisa and matt said:
We are hoping to get married [on a] sunset cruise…and since the cruise is 2 hours long, we would love for you to bring your husband and we'll pay for his ticket.
um...seriously? am i interested? i replied back something like "these are the kind of inquires we officiants LOVE to receive!"
so it all worked out. we met aboard the schooner appledore in camden harbor on a gorgeous, perfect summer evening. the wind was warm, i'm telling you, it was perfect! lisa had a gorgeous bouquet created by blue cloud farm and matt agreed to take his sunglasses off for the ceremony. things couldn't have gone smoother. oh, and after the ceremony i had the absolute pleasure of drinking one of the most delicious bloody marys i've ever had in my life (the secret is bay seasoning!) - see photo below.
congratulations matt and lisa on an epic wedding and an even more amazing marriage!
all photos by a sweet start (thanks to my husband, nick, for the ceremony shots!).
