The perfect Maine wedding and a beer ceremony | Officiant: A Sweet Start Photo: Nadra Photography
Mark and Lauren love beer! Which is why they decided to include a black-and-tan beer ceremony into their wedding. Not only did this special moment symbolize their union and their first drink as a married couple, it was a fun, light-hearted way to bring some humor into their wedding. As an officiant, I strongly encourage my couples to find unique ways to personalize their ceremony. I also try finding a nice mix of levity and gravity for the ceremony. It’s a serious commitment but it doesn’t have to be stuffy and boring!
In case you’re wondering, a beer ceremony is similar to a wine ceremony.
Leigh from Nadra Photography captured the warmth and joy of the day in these wonderful photos. I adored working with Mark and Lauren and have such fond memories of their wedding day here in Maine!
