Fall Maine wedding in an apple orchard | Officiant: A Sweet Start | Photo: KAngell Photography
There’s nothing quite like the crunch of fallen leaves under your feet and the smell of freshly carved pumpkins. Fall in Maine is one of the best times of year to get married here, especially if you’re going to get married in an apple orchard when all the sweet apples are ripe! Ian and Michelle did just that: they got married in an apple orchard at Clark’s Cove Farm in Bristol, Maine on Pumpkin Fest weekend. If you don’t know about Damariscotta’s Pumpkin Fest, you’re missing out! As a matter of fact, their ceremony started with:
Good afternoon and welcome to the beautiful coast of Maine. Michelle and Ian have invited you to this beautiful place for Pumpkinfest…oh, right, and their marriage!
This wedding was so full of love and laughter! Michelle and Ian relaxed into their day and really enjoyed every moment. Speaking of moments, one of my favorites was the two of them arm-in-arm during the ceremony listening to their friends read special passages just for them. What a sweet memory!
