Actually, these are things that should never be done by anyone on wedding day, not your wedding vendors, wedding party, family members or anyone. In the past, I’ve talked about how to create a calm, relaxed environment on wedding day and how to calm your nerves on wedding day, but today I’m talking about three things to definitely avoid doing.Read More
My friend and fellow wedding professional, Jessika Brooks Brewer came up with this list of seven things that happen on wedding day. Jessika is the owner of the glorious wedding venue French’s Point and has been involved with weddings since 2001, so she knows a thing or two about what happens on wedding day. I’ve been officiating weddings since 2011, so together she and I have your covered.Read More

There's something you should know about wedding vendors: we LOVE photo booths! Maybe it's just that everyone loves a photo booth and we vendors are no different. Photo booths are so much fun! From what I've seen, they add an even more festive quality to your wedding reception! So, if you're looking for a good photo booth vendor* here in Maine, you've come to the right place.
Maine Photo Booth Companies
Many professional photographers now offer photo booths as an add-on, so you can also ask your photographer if this is something they offer.
*I'm offering these to you as options, not as recommendations. I know a few of the owners personally, but many of these vendors I don't have personal experience with. Use your best judgement and ask a lot of questions to find the photo booth vendor that's right for you and your event!
Many of you might not know that I've been blogging for six years! I started my blog the same time I became a professional wedding officiant, back in 2011. Since then I've covered so many different topics like: wedding ceremony timeline, make sure to eat on wedding day, how to calm your nerves, where to wear your engagement ring during the ceremony, wedding vendor pricing, 10 tips for the best wedding processional, and so, so much more. I even wrote a blog post about the best Maine wedding resources to help you plan your wedding.Read More
