When it comes to weddings you can’t be over-prepared. You only get one shot to get it right and then that it forever. That’s why you spend so much time picking the right wedding vendors and go over all the details ahead of time. But in order to be really, really over-prepared, you may want to put together a Wedding Day Emergency Kit that includes all the essentials you could possibly need. This is the actual list I used for my own wedding. (And of course it’s in alphabetical order, have you not been paying attention to my need for order and organization?)

Now I have many of these items in an wedding day emergency kit that I bring to all the weddings I officiate. I’ve repaired broken high heel shoes, I’ve taped up garlands, I’ve cut strings hanging off gowns and tuxedos, and I’ve saftey-pinned and bobby-pinned many, many bridesmaids.
