if you want a gorgeous view as the backdrop to your wedding and if you want to host your guests in an historic bed and breakfast, then you might want to get married at the grey havens inn in georgetown, maine. i haven't actually been to the inn yet, but i plan to check it out this summer. my feeling about it being a good place to get married is soley based on the view from the lawn, the amazing veranda, and the gorgeous ship-inspired dining room. plus there's something about the inn itself that reminds me of the early 20th century rusticators who used to visit maine in the summers and spend leisurely days gently exploring the coast and breathing the healthy maine air. doesn't that sound idyllic?
